Mountain Support Team

Mountain Porters

We work with experienced mountain porters from different regions of the Cordillera Blanca. They belong to various local porter associations and speak both Quechua and Spanish. Our porters are highly trained, hardworking, and always happy to support and assist climbers throughout the expedition.

During climbing expeditions, they are responsible for carrying group and collective equipment between Base Camp and High Camp (round trip), helping ensure the smooth operation and success of the climb. Their invaluable support allows climbers to focus on the adventure while experiencing authentic interaction with local mountain communities.

Expedition Logistics

Our Muleteers

Our professional muleteers come from local communities in the Cordillera Huayhuash and Cordillera Blanca. With over 10 years of experience managing pack animals (donkeys, horses, and mules), these hardworking experts are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting all logistics, food, and equipment to each campsite. Beyond their reliable technical skills, they bring deep knowledge of the Andean landscapes and are dedicated to welcoming and supporting visitors throughout the entire adventure.

Safety & Peace of Mind

Emergency Horse

An emergency horse is available during trekking expeditions and is used only when necessary, such as for the evacuation of an injured or unwell participant, or to assist a trekker who becomes too tired to continue on foot. This service provides additional safety, comfort, and peace of mind throughout the journey.
